My Last 24 Hours in Canada

Woke up with a headache, last night was my last wing night in Calgary and I had a couple schooners of Molson Canadian. Lucas tells me Australia doesn't do wing nights. That's silly if you ask me! After I dragged my butt out of bed we headed down to my old work for some final good byes. I ended up leaving with a full belly and a vary kind going away present. Then while admiring the snow fall I walked to the mall to switch over my mobile plan, did some errands then went back to the apartment to finish packing and organizing.

All is mostly ready, just some small things to do but nothing major. I'm at my sisters place hanging with my 5 year old niece on the couch. She is rambling to herself and drawing random pictures of houses and I don't even know. Lucas & I are staying the night. Out of all Canada, this is where I want to spend my last day. My niece is very important to me and I know I'm going to miss her completely. She knows I'm moving and she can almost pronounce "Australia" but she isn't old enough to understand how far I'm actually going. My sister is in the kitchen cooking up some tasty goodness of hers. She is a really good cook and a great sister/mother. This will be my first time away from my entire family.

I'm very excited, there are a couple butterflies flapping around but I know everything will be fine. I get to finally see where my boy is from. I've heard numerous stories about his life there and soon enough we start a new beginning together.

Well I should go spend time with my family and my good friend stopped by. I'll have plenty of time tomorrow to write another post, seeing how it's going to take me 24 hours to get there!

   Soonly,
